When you teach something, you’re forced to look at your knowledge from the ground up: You re-examine the basics to help beginners understand. The more you do this, the more you master your craft.

With programming, everything is quite good. Of course, the Raspberry Pi can’t replace most professional desktops, but in general, it can run almost all programming languages and frameworks, from Python to Fortran.

Technical Skills — These cover the technical aspects of your online course: website, email, design, videos, etc. You don’t need to be a designer, coder, or videographer to create professional websites and video courses, but you do need to learn the basics. Various tools can help you make the process faster and easier.

In general, the Raspberry Pi is pretty suitable for studying software development basics or just for learning and experimenting with Linux. Even the absence of a disk is rather a plus here — even if the system is completely destroyed, the SD card can just be pulled out and the new image can be saved again in five minutes.

But that is me nitpicking. One reason I didn’t love Blade Runner 2049 is that I didn’t think Blade Runner needed a sequel. The movie was more cynical cash-grab than an organic continuation of the original. I know there are people who disagree with me passionately. They may even leave a comment. Dune, however, is a famous series of novels, and I hope they make a big-budget Dune: Messiah movie because that is a wonderfully weird book.

Here’s another good reason: Teaching something makes you understand the topic as much as you can. Online course students will eventually ask you questions and you’ll want to give excellent answers. No one wants to look ignorant in front of their students!Online courses require a diversity of skills to create and launch. You’ll need to know how to create a website to host your courses and build a solid marketing strategy to get the word out. These skills can be applied to other projects in the future.As for Linux itself, terminal commands, bash, and other stuff, everything works in a standard way as expected, with no difficulties. When we encourage women to conform to a narrow, “one size fits all” feminine ideal rather than owning and developing who they are, we’re teaching women to dim the very qualities that make them interesting and attractive. I first learned about him in 2013, when two of his movies came out, the domestic thriller Prisoners with Hugh Jackman, and Enemy, starring a pair of Jake Gyllenhaal. Those are both excellent as well. But his recent work, including the emotionally chilly first contact tearjerker Arrival in 2016 and 2017’s hotly-anticipated sequel Blade Runner 2049, underwhelmed me. Especially Blade Runner 2049, a beautiful but hollow movie, at least to me. The original is a deeply human movie with a human message, namely, there are no good guys in life. At least, none that are human.

I started my blog with a focus on productivity, since it’s one of the biggest challenges I experienced. But I wanted to create something that was more in-depth — especially for people who were serious about getting more done.

Likewise, your teaching style is the best fit for someone out there, maybe halfway across the world, who’s struggling with challenges you once had. You don’t need a PhD for this.

But while the media narrative pushes the idea that a good man, with funds, is hard to find, fueling a sense of desperation and desire to prove ourselves worthy — the numbers offer some reprieve.
